Senior High School
Curriculum
Starting in 2012/2013, we will be offering lecture based, on campus classes from Tuesday through Thursdays. Monday and Fridays will be used by each student for Independent Study done off campus.
Specific four year curriculum, meeting college entry requirements for senior high is as follows:
Science: Each class is a lab-based curriculum for Physical Science and Biology: We use Bob Jones and Apologia texts as our primary reference materials.
Social Studies: World History, World Geography, U.S. History, and Government/Economics. We use Bob Jones and a wide variety of additional resources.
Math: Depending on their assessed level Saxon Math from 87 through Algebra II will be available to Senior High School students.
English: Text-based, and in-depth, the English curriculum offered each year includes: Fundamentals in Literature, Elements of Literature, American Literature, and British Literature. Emphasis is on reading comprehension, grammar, spelling and writing.
Languages: Depending on the year, we may be offering Spanish or French.
